Nexus Creative partnered with MacQuesten to create a 4 story, 74 units of affordable rental housing for low/ moderate income families and individuals. At the heart of planning, design, and construction strategy for 136 Croton Avenue is a focus on affordable, durable, and efficient design solutions to reduce energy consumption and environmental footprint, improve resident health, comfort, and well-being, add critical resources to benefit the surrounding community, and provide facilities that enhance public health and wellness. The footprint and subsequent unit count will be driven by a roughly three story or less massing concept. Energy reduction will be achieved through the utilization of increased levels of continuous insulation in thermal envelope components and high-performance, right-sized, smart mechanical systems.
