The Bethel Master Plan envisions, encourages, and supports creativity. Forward thinking pedestrian focused mixed-use infill development. A skinny street will connect Greenwood Avenue and School Street between 155 and 159 Greenwood parcels. The parcels are located in Bethel's TOD overlay zone (Transit Oriented Development).
To increase the connectivity, the new alley should:
Provide connections between primary and secondary building entries and parking areas and sidewalks.
Allow for street or path connections to adjacent neighborhoods.
Connect to existing or planned vehicular and pedestrian networks on adjacent sites.
The existing bank drive will be kept. Access on Greenwood Ave and School Street will be modified.
