An existing 'barn' which hosted a small commercial kitchen demonstration studio with business offices above was reenvisioned to enhance Estate Kitchen's ability to host demonstration and cooking reception events. The business revolves around promoting estate level kitchen equipment and needed to expand their outreach and networking business model by hosting larger receptions. The new space interfaced with outdoor spaces and garden views while providing peripheral spaces to support entertaining a dozen or more guests. The design provided a dynamic open space which bridged the barn vocabulary with a 'Conservatory' type addition incorporating interior truss like structure with expansive glazed walls and skylights.
